Economy 26.02.2020

Issues of improving state support measures for PSEDA residents were discussed on February, 26 at the "Priority development areas - 'implementation' stage" talks, which were held at one of the sites of the 4th Forum of nuclear industry cities in Moscow.

The event was attended by heads of city-forming enterprises and heads of nuclear power cities, as well as representatives of interested federal and regional authorities and residents of PSEDA.

Inna Revina, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Penza Oblast, was the member of the Penza Oblast delegation at the discussion.

One of the main aims of the discussion was to analyse the effectiveness of a set of measures to create PSEDA in order to boost the economic and social development of the nuclear industry's closed cities and towns.

The discussion also touched upon mechanisms for attracting new residents to the territory and creating preferential conditions for them, criteria for the PSEDA success, as well as issues of restrictions that decrease the attractiveness of sites for residents.

Based on the results of the Forum proposals will be formed to make decisions on measures to support territories with a special business regime that are necessary to achieve national goals within the framework of national projects.
