The Governor demanded to prepare sites for future housing construction.
According to the rate of commissioning in 2019 (an increase of 26% compared to last year), the region ranked first in the Privolzhsky Federal District and eighth in Russia.
In 2020, it is planned to put into service 1 million 97 thousand square metres of housing, which is 31% more than last year. According to the Penza Oblast Ministry of Construction and Road Management, all municipalities have agreed on plans to provide housing for 2020.
Socially significant projects include the following: construction of housing on Zasechnoye village Council territory, declared as part of the federal project "Housing"; construction of apartments for Damate Group employees in the village of Krivosheyevka of the Nizhnelomovsky district; introduction of municipal housing for public sector specialists, orphans and other categories of citizens who need to improve housing conditions.
"As for housing commissioning, municipalities need to work not in "just-in-time system", but to prepare sites in advance, in a planned manner for 3, 5 or 10 years ahead, to bring engineering communications with the support of federal programmes. This also concerns areas of individual residential development," - Ivan Belozertsev said. "As for the 2020 targets, we need to meet them by December 1".
