Talks between Ivan Belozertsev and Mikhail Murashko were held on Tuesday, March 3, 2020.
The head of the region informed the Minister about the industry development in the Penza Oblast, as well as the implementation of the national project and related programmes.
In addition, the parties discussed a number of problematic issues.
In particular, they discussed the primary health care modernisation programme, which doesn't imply measures for repair and re-equipment of medical organisations located in settlements with a population of more than 50 thousand people.
"These hospitals, as a rule, are inter-district institutions, organisations of the second level of medical care and bear the main burden of providing primary specialised medical care and specialised medical care (level 2 trauma centers, primary vascular departments, maternity hospitals, etc.) to residents of municipal districts, being the only bodies to provide assistance in emergency situations," Ivan Belozertsev said.
He highlighted that due to the concentration of human, technological and material resources, these institutions make the main contribution to the preservation of citizens' life and health.
The Governor suggested considering the possibility of including such health facilities in the modernisation programme. They also discussed the inclusion of the N. Burdenko regional hospital emergency department in federal reconstruction projects and the construction of a new children's clinic in Penza. The ideas were supported by the Minister. Mikhail Murashko also approved the Penza Oblast's proposal to change the manner of training of cybernetics doctors.
