Gate valves produced by a Penza plant will be installed at nuclear power plants in India and Belarus. In June PTPA JSC released products designed specifically for export, certified and meeting all international standards.
"A batch of 4 wedge valves with a diameter of 800 mm was made for the second unit of the Belarusian NPP. This is the first nuclear power plant being built in Belarus. According to the project, it will include 2 power units with VVER-1200 reactors, each with a capacity of up to 1200 MW. The Belarusian NPP first power unit is planned to be launched this year, and the second one - next year," the company noted.
Also, a batch of 23 valves produced by PTPA JSC was shipped for a nuclear power plant in India. Products with a diameter of 150 to 800 mm are intended for blocks 3 and 4 of the Kudankulam NPP under construction. The planned launch dates are 2024 and 2025.
