The official launch of the new production line of the Hochland Russland branch took place on Monday, July 06, 2020.

Since the acquisition of the factory in Belinsky, the Hochland company has carried out a large-scale reconstruction: it has re-equipped production facilities and increased the capacity of the cheese factory.

Over three years, 1 billion 850 million rubles were invested in the modernisation of production, and 30 new jobs were created. The project was implemented with the Penza Oblast authorities' support.

The factory is designed to produce 6 thousand tons of finished products per year; the average salary at the enterprise is 36 thousand rubles, and the factory's annual tax payments are rather substantial. In 2019, the Penza Oblast consolidated budget received more than 50 million rubles from the Belinsky Hochland subsidiary.

Addressing the participants of the new production line grand opening, the head of the regional executive authority called it a great event for the Penza Oblast.

“I am very happy that a company with a worldwide famous brand has decided to invest in the production development in the Penza Oblast. Our agriculture including dairy farming is developing effectively," he added, noting that the region has a sufficient market for raw materials needed for cheese production.

“I am thankful to our investors, as well as Hochland management and employees for the modernisation of the enterprise," - he said, emphasising the product's high quality.

Dairy raw materials for the cheese production are purchased from the Petrovsky SEC, Dmitrov LP, Konstantinovo ZAO, Studyonovskoye OOO, Pachelmskoye Khozyaystvo OOO. Due to the increase in the enerprise's production capacity, the total demand for dairy raw materials in 2020 has increased to 50 thousand tons per year.
