The Penza Oblast farmers produced one and a half million tons of grain.
As of the reporting date, 1507.6 thousand tons of grain and leguminous crops were threshed on 361.2 thousand hectares (43% of the plan) in the region. The average yield is 42 hundred kilograms per hectare.
The Penza Oblast is still the leader in the Volga Federal District in the average yield of cereals and legumes.
