According to the Directorate for External Relations and Corporate Communications of Transmashholding, which includes Penzadizelmash, Penza industrial enterprise has assembled the hundredth DC traction generator GPP-840, which is used in the design of the TEM18DM shunting locomotives produced by the Bryansk Machine-Building Plant.
The development of generator production in Penza takes place as part of the import substitution programme: previously, such equipment was purchased in Ukraine. The total volume of the installation batch of generators to be produced at the PDM is 560.
