The partnership agreement between the Penza Oblast Government and T Plus Public Joint Stock Company was signed at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, on Thursday, June 3, 2021.
Acting Governor Oleg Melnichenko and Andrey Vagner, T Plus CEO, signed a document providing for the high-quality and reliable heat supply to Penza residents.
"The agreement makes a large investment programme that allows for the modernisation of both main and intra-district networks in Penza. This year, we are going to repair about 60 km of networks, which will be replaced. We will upgrade the city's central heat supply station. Therefore, this is a serious joint investment project for us," the acting Governor stressed.
The head of the heat supply company noted that the implementation of this project is a big responsibility.
"Now T Plus faces a number of important tasks to improve the quality of heat supply in the region. Since the beginning of the year, we have been operating 256 km of submain heat networks, which we expect to modernise in the next few years," Andrey Vagner, T Plus CEO, explained.
During the business meeting, the parties discussed issues of further cooperation. By 2035 more than six billion rubles will have been invested in the modernisation of the heat supply system in Penza. A significant part of the investment – 2.9 billion rubles - will be used to replace the submain heating networks and the central heating station.
