According to the official information of the territorial statistics service, in January-May of this year food products worth 20.6 billion rubles were shipped in the Penza Oblast, which is 18.4% more than during the same period last year.
During the reporting period, compared to the same one last year, the volume of shipments of dairy products increased by 8.3% and amounted to 3.4 billion rubles.
Bakery, flour and confectionery products were shipped in the amount of 1.8 billion rubles, which is 11.5% more than during the same period last year. Sugar was shipped in the amount of 6.5 billion rubles, which is 72% more compared to the same period in 2020.
