The acting head of the Penza Oblast discussed the issues of providing state support to the region's industrial enterprises with Viktor Sharokhin on Wednesday, September 8, 2021.
At the beginning of the meeting, Oleg Melnichenko noted that Gazprom is our region's strategic partner.
"The Penza Oblast takes part in the Gazprom production and cooperation chain: many enterprises get orders from the holding. It influences the index of regional industrial production, because Gazprom is the largest customer on the territory of the Russian Federation," Oleg Melnichenko stated.
"Cooperation with the company creates a certain production portfolio for our industrial enterprises," he added.
The acting head of the region noted that the region's largest plants cooperate with Gazprom in various fields available.
"I know that a large meeting with representatives of our industrial enterprises and Gazprom dedicated to import substitution will be held today. I hope that it will lead to even closer interaction between Gazprom and the Penza Oblast industrial companies. It is very important for us. New orders mean jobs and taxes," Oleg Melnichenko stressed.
According to Viktor Sharokhin, the Penza Oblast is an important region for his company.
"A number of leading enterprises that supply us with equipment are located here. Those are valve and compressor plants. We have signed a workflow chart that defines Gazprom's interaction with the region. Today we have a turnover of more than 1 billion rubles under contracts with the Penza Oblast enterprises. I hope this will give the region and the enterprises an opportunity to develop further, to supply high-tech products for us to use at our facilities," Viktor Sharokhin explained.
"We are always happy to provide an opportunity forthe region's industrial enterprises to send their products to our facilities to test them, and later - to massively introduce them there," he added.
Viktor Sharokhin expressed confidence in expanding cooperation with Penza industrial enterprises, which will increase the range and volume of products supplied to Gazprom by the region's industrial enterprises and attract new partners.
