During a briefing session in the regional government Oleg Melnichenko instructed to provide comprehensive support, including financial, to self-employed citizens when they establish their businesses.
The Poruchitel microcredit organisation has developed a new loan offer for the self-employed. A preferential loan is provided in the amount of up to 500 thousand rubles for a period of up to 3 years with an interest rate of 3.5%.
"Self-employed citizens are, as a rule, active creative people who strive for independence, are able to make decisions and show diligence and perseverance. We shoul support such people, because they have the greatest chance to grow into successful entrepreneurs," Oleg Melnichenko commented.
"As of October 17, the number of registered professional income tax payers (the self-employed) in the Penza Oblast is 14,276 people that is 2.7 times more than at the beginning of the year. The income tax on professional income for January-August 2021 amounted to 31.2 million rubles. Taking into account the development prospects, this confirms the economic feasibility of providing state support to self-employed citizens," the head of the Penza Oblast stressed.
Currently, there is an opportunity to use the services of the My Business Centre to promote hand-made products and services. Co-financing of entrepreneurs' sales costs can be aimed at assistance in conducting an advertising and information campaign in social networks, production and placement of outdoor advertising materials, replication of printed and audio/video materials, as well as the promotion of a website or an online store.
