A working meeting of the Chairman of the Gazprom Management Board and the head of the region took place in St. Petersburg on Wednesday, December 8, 2021.
The parties discussed the implementation of the programme for the development of gas supply in the Penza Oblast for 2021-2025. It was noted that this year Gazprom has built a gas pipeline connecting two gas distribution stations in Kuznetsk and two inter-village gas pipelines - to the village of Srednyaya Elyuzan, Gorodishchensky district, and to the poultry complex in the Mokshansky district.
As a result, gas supply to Kuznetsk consumers has become more reliable. In the Gorodishchensky district conditions have been created for connecting one thousand more households to the grid gas and increasing the production capacity of an agricultural enterprise.
At the same time, consumer applications are being received to provide gas supply to households in already gasified settlements. Currently, there are about three thousand such applications, and more than 300 of them have been fulfilled.
Another area of cooperation is the use of high-tech, including import-substituting products of regional enterprises at Gazprom. It was noted that the product samples of seven companies have been certified and included in the Unified Register of Material and Technical Resources approved for use by Gazprom.
"By the end of 2021, the cost of supplies of Penza equipment should reach 1.7 billion rubles," Oleg Melnichenko informed, commenting on the preliminary results of the business meeting.
"In the near future, the range of products supplied to Gazprom by Penza enterprises is planned to be significantly expanded. In particular, it concerns compressor equipment, new types of shut-off valves for underwater installations and technical products for diagnostics and repair of pipeline valves," he listed.
Currently, more than 10 Penza Oblast industrial enterprises cooperate with Gazprom; they constantly conduct joint activities to increase the use of the scientific and industrial potential of Penza companies.
Also, the Governor focused on the importance of trouble-free maintenance of networks. He clarified that the meeting with the Chairman of the Gazprom Management Board also touched upon the topic of the possibility of the company's acquisition of gas pipelines owned by municipalities (about 4.5 thousand km) and the region (about 1.2 thousand km).
"We try to solve these issues to improve the quality of people's lives, and we also want to expand the "Gazprom for Children" programme aimed at building sports facilities," Oleg Melnichenko explained.
"The Penza Oblast will benefit a lot, if we continue this work. The application for our region's inclusion in the targeted programme of Gazprom in 2022 is being considered," the Governor summed up.
