The meeting touched upon plans to develop the "Penza Telema Gino Plant" and organise new region's production facilities to be a part of the Italian holding.
Welcoming the region's business partners the Governor noted that the "Penza Telema Gino Plant" created with the help of the Telema company has become one of the best enterprises in the region's industry. The management of the plant gathered a unique team of professionals able to solve complex technological problems.
"The engineering and technical solutions of the "Telema Gino" are used in the implementation of large-scale and ambitious projects all over the country, for example, the development of the Arctic and the Northern Sea Route," the head of the region stressed. "We are proud that components for the Arctic and Siberia nuclear icebreakers and for other ships of the Arctic fleet were created in Penza."
He mentioned that thanks to the high quality and reliability of the goods produced, the largest Russian and foreign corporations, such as Transmashholding, United Shipbuilding Corporation and Siemens, have become partners of the enterprise.
"The plant is very important for the Penza Oblast socio-economic development. Its work contributes to an increase in the production volumes of the regional industry, the introduction of advanced technologies and the expansion of business contacts network," Oleg Melnichenko stated, expressing the region's interest both in the further development of "Telema Gino" and in the implementation of the holding's new projects.
The Italian side confirmed its intentions to implement a number of large-scale projects, including some in the Penza Oblast. The "Telema Gino" plant will continue to expand its product range in 2022. It is also planned to open new production sites.
"It is in Penza that we will be able to combine high technologies and develop our production further," Michele Fornari stated.
In the near future, it is planned to create two more joint ventures for the production of power contactors and technical ceramics. Specialists have already started recruiting staff, conducting marketing research and searching for sales markets.
"The region can provide personnel, infrastructure and comprehensive support," Oleg Melnichenko said agreeing with the region's business partners' ideas.
