During a solemn ceremony on Thursday, February 24, 2022 governor Oleg Melnichenko, Michele Fornari, TELEMA Holding S.r.l president, and Mario Fornari, TELEMA Holding S.r.l CEO, signed the document on the interaction of the Penza Oblast government with the Italian company.
Commenting on the event, the Governor explained that the new Cooperation Agreement provides for the development of high-tech industries and creation of additional jobs in the region.
"You know that the Penza Telema Gino Plant was founded at a precision instrument plant, and is one of the most successful and rapidly developing industrial enterprises in the region," Oleg Melnichenko reminded.
"Under the Agreement, the company will be able to implement innovative and investment projects aimed at increasing production volumes, developing new types of products and introducing advanced technologies," he added.
In particular, it is planned to create two production facilities manufacturing power contactors and technical ceramics.
To date, the partners of TELEMA Holding S.r.l, which is engaged in the design and manufacture of electrical equipment for various industries, are such major enterprises as SINARA state corporation, Transmashholding, United Shipbuilding Corporation, Seversky Pipe Plant, Moscow United Electric Grid Company, RUSELPROM, and SIEMENS AG.
The signed agreement will help develop and strengthen the innovative technologies of the Penza Oblast industry.
