For January-February 2022, the Penza Oblast ranked first among the regions of the Volga Federal District in milk yield per cow in agricultural organizations. The production volume was 1,529 kg, the growth rate was 107.2%.
The region ranks second in the Volga Federal District in the production of livestock and poultry (in live weight) in farms of all categories in January-February 2022. The production volume was 68.8 thousand tons, the growth rate was 111.8%.
