Almaz Khakimov, Minister of Economic Development and Industry of the Penza Oblast, took part in the International Industrial Exhibition INNOPROM - 2022 in Yekaterinburg on July 4-5.
The Head of the Department attended key events, including the Main Strategic Session: "Industrial Transition: Experience of Leaders", with the participation of the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin and the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov. During the session, the heads of the executive authorities of Russia and partner countries, as well as the leaders of big business, discussed the issues of changing the formats of trade and economic relations between the countries in the prevailing economic and political conditions, competition and cooperation, and features of industrial transformation.
Almaz Khakimov also met with the Secretary General of the Turkish Machine-Building Federation (MAKFED). The parties discussed mutual interests and tasks for the development of the machine-building industry, and agreed to intensify cooperation.
The exhibition halls presented the latest innovative developments of domestic industrial enterprises and large corporations in the field of innovative achievements, automation of production, modern materials and structures, as well as promising areas of mechanical engineering.
"This year’s exhibition is special. Participation in it opens up new opportunities for enterprises both in the field of import substitution and international cooperation. Russian companies are actively exploring options for cooperation in such industries as mechanical engineering, metallurgy, energy, chemistry, information technology and others," Almaz Khakimov said.
Penza Oblast was represented at the INNOPROM – 2022 by the StankoMashStroy company, which produces modern high-tech metalworking equipment. A CNC lathe of the ST16A25 series and a universal lathe ST16K25B were exhibited at the company's stand.
