Republican Research Scientific and Consulting Center of Expertise has developed a rating of innovative development of the regions of the Russian Federation.
According to the prepared rating, the top three leading regions in terms of innovative development are: the city of Moscow, Republic of Tatarstan, and Tomsk Oblast.
The Penza Oblast entered the top 20 regions and took 13th place.
The regions were assessed by 30 indicators divided into 6 groups: potential for innovation development, infrastructure potential, human resources, financial support for innovation, effectiveness of innovation, and organizational and economic conditions for innovation development.
