The Penza Oblast took second place for the production of livestock and poultry for slaughter in farms of all categories in January-June 2022. The production indicator is 221.2 thousand tons.
The turnover of organizations by type of activity (Agriculture, forestry, hunting, fishing and fish farming) amounted to 52.4 billion rubles (2nd place in the Volga Federal District).
The Penza Oblast is in the first place in milk yield per one cow in large, medium and small agricultural organizations in January-June 2022. The result was 4,699 kg, which is 102.1% compared to last year.
