In 2022, 403.6 thousand tons of livestock and poultry in live weight were produced in the Penza Oblast in farms of all forms of ownership.
Agricultural enterprises produced 380.8 thousand tons of livestock and poultry, which is 3.5% more than last year.
According to the territorial statistics service, 315.4 thousand tons of milk were produced in the region. In particular, 201.6 thousand tons of milk were produced by agricultural enterprises.
Within 11 months of 2022, 262.1 million eggs of all kinds were produced in the Penza Oblast, including 143 million eggs produced by agricultural enterprises.
