On Thursday, March 2, 2023, during the conference on interregional cooperation "Business and Investment Partnership of Russia and Tajikistan", five bilateral agreements were signed between representatives of the Penza Oblast and the Republic of Tajikistan.
Three of them were signed by the Chairman of the Penza Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Podobed. Contracts were concluded with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan, and those of Sughd and Khatlon Regions.
The agreements confirmed the intentions of both sides to provide mutually beneficial assistance in creating favorable conditions for the development of entrepreneurship, export markets, and establishing partnerships between business communities.
The heads of the Tajik enterprise CHDMM SHI LiK and Penza Seies OOO officially confirmed their mutual obligations. The agreement is aimed at implementing a freeze-drying project. This will allow Seies, a freeze-drying equipment company, to acquire new markets.
The agreement was also concluded between the Penza State Agrarian University and the Shirinshoh Shotemur Tajik Agrarian University. The agreement is aimed at strengthening ties between the two educational institutions.
