In order to develop the material and technical conditions and stimulate spring field work, 436.9 million rubles of state funds were allocated to the agricultural sector of the Penza Oblast in the 1st quarter of this year.
The volume of federal funds was 402.5 million rubles, which was 2 times more than in the same period last year. Support was provided for 339 applications of regional agricultural producers.
According to the measures of the stimulating group of subsidies (support of own milk production, and laying of perennial plantings) and the compensating group of subsidies (support of elite seed production, livestock breeding, agricultural insurance, and agrotechnological works in crop production), more than 50% of the stipulated subsidies were delivered.
