The governor announced that on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 Penza industrialists held dozens of negotiations with companies from Uzbekistan.
At the International Industrial Exhibition "INNOPROM. Central Asia" an exchange of information and contacts aimed at the development of Russian-Uzbek trade and economic cooperation took place.
The Penza Oblast stand was really popular among the businessmen of Uzbekistan. The potential of the region was represented by more than a dozen companies. The expo was visited by many guests, including the RF Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov and the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
Agreements have been reached on export-import supplies of various types of goods and equipment.
"More than 50 companies are interested in the products of the Penzenergomash plant. Constructive negotiations were held at the expo," Oleg Melnichenko explained.
"The terms of the partnership agreement between Penzenergomash and Uzbekkhimmash for the expansion of production of heavy machinery have been previously agreed. The StankoMashStroy company will open a dealership in Tashkent," he informed.
The agreement for the production of metalworking equipment was signed by the StankoMashStroy CEO Oleg Kochetkov and the head of the UZSTANEX Dmitry Boytsov. The entire product range is becoming available for manufacturers of Uzbekistan – from simple lathes of the ST16K20 series to high-precision VTM machining centers.
Agreements have also been reached with Chirchik Agro Khimprom, Uzbekneftegaz, Shurtan GKM, and a number of other Uzbek enterprises of the oil and gas industry on the export of complex technological equipment from the Penza Oblast.
