According to the results of the first quarter of 2023, 116.0 thousand tons of livestock and poultry in live weight were produced in the Penza Oblast farms, which is 8.4% more than in the same period of 2022.
The territorial statistics service reported that 80.2 thousand tons of milk were produced in the region, including 56.4 thousand tons in agricultural organizations.
In January-March 2023, 67.8 million eggs of all types were produced in the region (108.7% compared to the same period in 2022), including 44.2 million eggs in agricultural organizations (107.6% compared to the same period in 2022).
