The Governor announced the interim results of the work carried out in the region in accordance with the instructions of the RF President.
"By early June, 6533 applications from residents were accepted for work on the portal of the Unified Gas Infrastructure Operator, 6394 contracts were concluded. 5770 contracts have been executed, that is, 90 percent of the total number," the head of the region informed. 25 social facilities (medical institutions and schools) have also been identified in which it is planned to decommission the currently operating coal-fired boilers and install gas equipment by 2025."
Oleg Melnichenko reminded that the Penza Oblast is one of the regions of the Russian Federation, where certain categories of citizens are provided with such a type of social support as 100% compensation for the costs of gas equipment installation (if the cost of work does not exceed 100 thousand rubles).
A one-time payment is provided to participants of the Great Patriotic War, veterans of military operations, family members of the deceased and disabled participants of the Second World War and military operations. Also, large families, disadvantaged citizens (including poor families with minor children), and families with a disabled child are eligible for the support. The list also includes former minor prisoners of concentration camps, ghettos and other places of forced detention; citizens called up for military service on mobilization in the RF Armed Forces, and those who have signed a contract with the Armed Forces to serve in the BARS units.
"In 2022, 72 people received support totaling more than 7.7 million rubles. This year, over 3.3 million rubles have already been received by 33 applicants" the Governor explained.
"According to the results of work for the 1st half of this year, our region ranks 4th in gas infrastructure development. In order to maintain positive dynamics, it is necessary to inform Penza residents more actively about the current state support measures," Oleg Melnichenko stated.
