The implementation of "Choose Russian Products" federal project was discussed by Acting Governor Nikolai Simonov and Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Sergey Morozov during a working meeting. They also signed an agreement on cooperation in a pilot project aimed at developing domestic production.
Penza was chosen as a site for the launch of a new project as a City of Labor Valor and as a center of developed industry.
On behalf of the residents of the region, Nikolai Simonov thanked the organizers of the project and personally Sergey Morozov for choosing our region.
"It is well deserved. The Penza Oblast has shown throughout history that our people are able to work, and solve the most difficult tasks," the acting governor reminded. - Time and the President set new goals for us. The first is food security. On behalf of the head of state, the agro-industrial complex industry is receiving great support. Damate, Cherkizovo, Vostok-Agro, and Rusmolko companies are developing intensively, and we help them at the regional level. Certain results in ensuring food security have already been achieved, and the main task has been solved."
"Technological and industrial safety is more complicated," emphasized Nikolai Simonov. One of the areas that you need to focus on is machine tool construction. For 15 years, high-quality production has been formed in our region. For the first time in Russia, a machine-tool cluster has been registered, which includes 13 of our enterprises."
The acting head of the Penza Oblast clarified that success can be achieved only with respect and education of people of labor. From this point of view, the implementation of the federal project "Choose Russian Products" is very useful and important.
Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Sergey Morozov reported on the All-Russian audit of import dependence, which resulted in the initiative to create the All-Russian social movement "Person of Labor".
"The new project is inherently patriotic. This is the ideology of choosing Russian. This is an ideology that aims to support our domestic developments, production, entrepreneurs, scientists, and citizens. This is the ideology of choosing to rest and study in Russia," the parliamentarian said.
"It is, by and large, to choose Russia. To develop our state so that we can proudly tell ourselves and our children without any guile that it is a great honor and pride to live and work in Russia," Sergey Morozov added.
He confirmed the words of Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, who repeatedly stressed that everything that is possible should be produced in his country.
"And that every penny of added value created by us, the Russians, is a contribution to import substitution and strengthening the technological sovereignty of our country. That's what the "Choose Russian Products" project is. And this project is also aimed at creating a new image of the economy and industry," said the deputy.
The launched project provides decent working conditions and salaries of people of labor, and improves the quality of education. A course has been taken to increase the role of the state in the economy, using the best practices of the Soviet era in planning the development of industries.
It was also proposed to declare 2025 the Year of the Person of Labor in Russia, as it is going to be the 90th anniversary the Stakhanov movement.
