In the Penza Oblast, in January-July of this year, the processing industry has shown a 107.3% growth rate of industrial production of food.
The best indicators are observed in the processing of meat and meat products – 103.6%, of which the growth rate of poultry meat production was 107.4%, and meat production – 105.3%; goods worth 33.2 billion rubles were shipped.
The increase in production in the meat industry is facilitated by the growth in the production of ready-made animal feed, which is marked at the level of 111.7%, and 4.4 billion rubles worth of products have been shipped.
There is also an increase in the production of soft drinks (110.5%).
In total, large and medium-sized enterprises of the food industry in January-July 2023 shipped food products for 66.7 billion rubles.
