The governor called the harvesting campaign of 2023 a success.
"The agrarians of our region perfectly cope with the tasks of harvesting grown grain crops. Currently, a record 3 million tons have been threshed," Oleg Melnichenko said.
"We keep a decent level of productivity. The average figure for today is 39 tons from hectare," Oleg Melnichenko stated.
He also noted that work continues on sowing winter crops for the harvest of 2024. As of the current date, 213.9 thousand hectares have been sown, which is 56% of the plan.
