The International Agricultural Congress "ASIAEXPO 2023" was held in Sochi from October 25 to 27, 2023.
The main objective of the congress is to develop cooperation within the agro-industrial complex of China, India, countries of Africa, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and the CIS; and the formation of new channels for the export of agricultural machinery and products from the Russian Federation.
Deputy Prime Minister and Penza Minister of Agriculture Roman Kalentyev made a report on the current situation of agricultural products exports from the Penza Oblast at the plenary session "Current Trends in Agriculture Development".
In his speech, Roman Kalentyev talked about the successful reorientation of export supplies to new markets, primarily to Asian countries. He also said that Penza producers are increasing exports of agricultural products to China and African countries.
