The Governor took part in an online meeting of the Government Commission for Regional Development.
As the chairman of the commission, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin noted, the country needs a consistent and stable policy on housing construction.
"Every year we should not fall in terms of indicators, but grow, and reach 120 million square meters of housing per year by 2029. In order to succeed, the groundwork needs to be done right now: we need to prepare documentation, to register land plots, and to enter into large projects for the integrated development of territories," Marat Khusnullin stressed.
The target indicators for housing commissioning for the Penza region for 2023 are 920 thousand square meters (112% compared to the level of 2022). The standards are established by the federal project "Housing" of the national project "Housing and Urban Environment".
"According to the results of 9 months, the Penza Oblast is positively assessed by the Ministry of Construction of Russia, and is also among top three in the Volga Federal District," Oleg Melnichenko stated. - According to operational data, from January to October 2023, more than 715 thousand square meters of housing were put into operation. At the same time, in accordance with the project declarations and production plans of developers, the most active commissioning of apartment buildings is scheduled for the 4th quarter (November and December 2023). We will fulfill that task."
