As part of the national project "Safe high–quality roads", the repair of the Nizhny Lomov – Pachelma - Bashmakovo highway in the Bashmakovsky district of the Penza Oblast will continue in 2024.
This 64 km long road connects 3 administrative centers of Nizhnelomovsky, Pachelmsky and Bashmakovsky districts with a total population of about 25,800 people. It has access to the federal highway M-5 Ural.
In 2023, specialists of the contracting organization repaired a section of a 4.4 km long highway in the Nizhnelomovsky district.
In 2024, a section of the highway about 5.5 km long in the Bashmakovsky district will be repaired. According to the contract, the work will be carried out from May 1, 2024 to July 2025.
In 2024, in the Penza Oblast, the national project "Safe high-quality roads" will include 11 highways of regional and inter-municipal significance in Gorodishchensky, Sosnovoborsky, Bashmakovsky, Issinsky, Lopatinsky, Mokshansky and Kameshkir districts.
The reconstruction of bridges in the Spassky, Nizhnelomovsky and Luninsky districts will continue.
