In December 2023, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Penza Oblast signed 12 agreements on the provision of subsidies to support the agro-industrial complex of theregion.
It is planned to attract federal funds in the amount of 1,680.0 million rubles to the budget of the Penza Oblast in 2024.
The funding will be directed:
- to support the priority areas of the agro–industrial complex and the development of small businesses - 623.7 million rubles;
- for the sold grain of own production – 229.5 million rubles;
- for the implementation of activities of national projects – 104.1 million rubles;
- to reimburse the interest rate on investment loans – 36.6 million rubles;
- to support the production of potatoes and vegetables – 18.6 million rubles;
- for the development of agrotourism – 9.2 million rubles;
- for carrying out measures for liming acidic soils – 4.7 million rubles;
- for the activities of the integrated rural development program – 653.6 million rubles.
