In 2024, more than 41 million rubles were allocated from the federal budget as part of the regional Forest Conservation project of the national Ecology project for the Penza Oblast.
It is planned to purchase 6 cargo four-wheel drive fire trucks with firefighting equipment.
Special equipment will be transferred to the Forest Fire Center. It will be used to carry out work on extinguishing forest fires in the Penza Oblast.
In 2023, as part of this project, 3 SADKO NEXT trucks and 1 cargo and passenger car (UAZ Profi) with firefighting equipment were purchased. To date, the forest fire equipment in the region has been updated by almost 94%.
