In the Penza Oblast, in January-December 2023, industrial food production showed 108.1% growth rate.
The best indicators are observed in the processing of meat and meat products – 104.4%, of which the growth rate of poultry meat production was 105.7% and the production of meat from slaughtered animals and poultry meat – 105.9%. Meat products worth 61.9 billion rubles were shipped.
The increase in production in the meat industry is facilitated by the growth in the production of ready-made animal feed, which is marked at the level of 110.7 %.
The growth in milk and dairy production amounted to 103.5%; products worth 8.9 billion rubles were shipped.
There is also an increase in sugar production – 117.5%, and soft drinks – 109.4%.
In total, large and medium-sized enterprises of the food industry of the Penza Oblast shipped food products worth 121.2 billion rubles last year.
