The volume of investments in fixed assets in 2023 reached a record value for the Penza Oblast, amounting to 121.8 billion rubles, which is 16.1 billion rubles more than in 2022.
The main source of financing for the investment activities of organizations (excluding small businesses) was the raised funds of 56.3% of the total investment in fixed assets.
Organizations (excluding small businesses) invested the most in the purchase and modernization of machinery and equipment (45.3%), construction of non-residential buildings and structures (44.6%). 5.1% of the region's investments were directed to housing construction.
