The Governor took part in a meeting of the government commission for regional development in the Russian Federation, which was held by the Deputy Chairman of the Government of Russia via videoconference.
The Deputy Prime Minister noted the successful implementation of the family mortgage program in the Penza Oblast. According to the RF Ministry of Construction, at the moment the region is among the leaders in terms of providing preferential mortgages.
"An important decision has been made to extend the family mortgage program; we will spend 800 billion rubles to compensate for interest on previously issued loans. This is a huge amount of money allocated to support our population," Marat Khusnullin stressed. "Despite all the difficulties, a lot of work will be done."
In 2023, the amount of funds allocated from the regional budget to support preferential mortgages amounted to 150 million rubles. In the first quarter of 2024, on behalf of Oleg Melnichenko, 50 million rubles are provided for these purposes.
Chairman of the Headquarters for Regional Development in the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin demanded to pay special attention to road repairs and the development of public transport in the regions.
In the Penza Oblast, it is planned to complete the reconstruction of the Penza –Shemysheyka–Lopatino highway six months ahead of schedule.
Oleg Melnichenko noted that the construction of a transport interchange hub in the residential districts of Ternovka and the City of Sputnik is also ahead of schedule.
"The technological connection of the traction substation is currently underway, and we will launch our new trolleybuses in the near future. This is a very popular intermunicipal route. We opened it last year, but trolleybuses went around the neighborhood on an autonomous run," Oleg Melnichenko said. "Thanks to your support and the support of the President, traffic will be opened through the newly built contact network, which is more than four kilometers long."
