Housing construction issues were discussed at a meeting of the regional government.
According to operational data, in the first quarter of 2024, more than 188 thousand square meters of housing were commissioned in the Penza Oblast (112.2% compared to the same period last year). Individual housing construction amounted to more than 129 thousand square meters (137.8 %), apartment buildings amounted to more than 59.4 thousand square meters (almost 80% compared to last year).
"The Penza Oblast is in the "green zone" of the RF Ministry of Construction in terms of housing commissioning rates," the governor noted. Most municipalities are actively working in this direction. The rest of us also need to build momentum. The further participation of the region in federal programs largely depends on the success of our work."
This year, the region plans to put into operation more than 980 thousand square meters of housing.
Municipal administrations, in cooperation with developers, the regional Office of the Federal Register Service, the regional Ministries of Urban Planning and Architecture, and the Ministry of Construction and Road Management of the Penza Oblast, have developed road maps with clear deadlines for the stages of construction of individual and multi-apartment housing.
Oleg Melnichenko stressed that the heads of municipalities need to keep this important issue under special control.
