Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Oksana Lut visited the stand of the Penza Oblast during a visit to "Belagro 2024", which is currently being held in Minsk.
Head of the Penza Oblast Ministry of Agriculture Roman Kalentyev noted that the region is implementing a number of projects in the agricultural sector. The stand presents a wide range of products from leading manufacturers in the region: confectionery, dietary supplements, maple and raspberry syrup, oriental sweets, and lemonades.
"The Penza Oblast annually demonstrates its attractiveness for investors. To improve the investment climate in the region, new facilities are being built, and the number of entrepreneurs is also growing. Currently, more than two thousand farms and sole proprietors are registered. This year alone, 76 individual agricultural entrepreneurs have started their activities," Roman Kalentyev commented.
Assessing the presentation of the region, Oksana Lut stressed that the Penza Oblast has great potential in the production of competitive products of the processing industry and agriculture.
