The governor inspected the new building of the enterprise.
"Not so long ago, this building was in a dilapidated state, the production site was not used," the governor stressed.
"The building has been in an unattended state for almost 20 years. There were no communications on the site. The governor helped us solve the problem quickly and at a high level," stated Dmitry Akimov, President of the Association of Industrialists of the Penza Oblast.
In recent years, the Penza Power Equipment Plant has undergone technical renovation aimed at improving the scientific, technological, and production capabilities of the enterprise. This has led to an increase in labor productivity and improved product quality. To expand production, a new building with an area of 12,500 square meters was purchased.
"Dmitry Akimov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the enterprise, decided to put the building into operation. Thanks to this, 300 jobs have been created in the Penza Oblast. The appearance of the city has changed for the better, because the building looks different now," Oleg Melnichenko noted.
Currently, the building meets modern requirements for the work and recreation of employees. New equipment was purchased, among which the governor noted the machines of Penza company StankoMashStroy.
"Now we are starting to provide ourselves with machines," commented Oleg Melnichenko.
Penza Power Equipment Plant specializes in the production of power electrical equipment for traction rolling stock and urban electric transport. Specialists have mastered the production of chokes, reactors, inductive shunts, and locking circuits. Electrical equipment is used in the construction of the new trolleybus "Sinara", new electric locomotives, and diesel locomotives.
During the visit, Oleg Melnichenko inspected the new industrial site, got acquainted with the company's products, talked with the workforce and presented regional awards.
