The results of the 12th All-Russian competition of regional and municipal informatization projects "PROF-IT" were summed up, and the project "Unique Integration Platform of the Intelligent Transport System (ITS) of the Penza City Agglomeration" was evaluated highly by the jury and participants of the competition.
The Expert Council, which evaluated the participants ' work, included representatives of relevant federal executive authorities, the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, the National Research University-Higher School of Economics, the ITMO National Research University (Precision Mechanics and Optics), the I. M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University, Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Internet Development Institute", Autonomous Non-Profit Organization for the development of digital projects in the field of public relations and communications "Dialog Regions", Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Digital Economy", NP "Partnership for the Development of the Information Society in the North-West", and other reputable expert organizations.
They noted that the Penza development project is aimed at improving the quality of life of citizens and optimizing the operation of urban transport.
According to the voting, the Penza Oblast scored 6.49 points, taking third place.
Such competitions allow to demonstrate interesting regional projects and share your experience in implementing modern information technologies in public administration and other areas.
The project "Unique Integration Platform of the Intelligent Transport System (ITS) of the Penza City Agglomeration" is being implemented by the State Budgetary Institution of the Penza Oblast "Safe Region" in stages from 2022 and will be continued.
