The solemn ceremony of signing the documents took place in the Brest Regional Executive Committee during the third meeting of the working group on cooperation between the Penza Oblast and the Republic of Belarus.
A bilateral cooperation agreement has been signed between the Accounts Chamber of the Penza Oblast and the State Control Committee of the Brest Region, aimed at exchanging experience and implementing joint initiatives in the field of audit and financial control.
An agreement was also signed on the implementation of international and foreign economic relations between the administration of the Nizhnelomovsky district of the Penza Oblast and the Zhabinkovsky District Executive Committee. It will allow the implementation of joint projects in the socio-economic sphere, as well as strengthen cultural and business ties between the districts.
It should be recalled that at the moment the Penza Oblast has cooperation agreements with all regions of the Republic of Belarus, and there are also a number of inter–municipal agreements between Bessonovsky and Ivatsevichi, Luninsky and Luninetsky districts.
After the third meeting of the working group, representatives of the Penza Oblast took part in the traditional flower-laying ceremony at the Brest Hero Fortress Memorial Complex in memory of the participants of the Great Patriotic War. A minute of silence was declared as a sign of respect for the memory of the fallen soldiers.
