Over the course of 2024, Damate Group produced 241,500 tons of turkey meat (slaughter weight), marking a 2% increase compared to 2023. The production complex in Penza Oblast made the most significant contribution to this annual output.
As part of its expansion project, the company launched the first of two poultry farming units in Bolshaya Elan, Penza District, with 64 poultry houses and a capacity of 2 million birds. The second phase, scheduled for completion in August 2025, will boost turkey production by an additional 22,600 tons per year, accounting for approximately 5% of Russia's total turkey production. The project has received 6.9 billion rubles in investment.
Currently, poultry rearing and fattening operations are already underway at the new facilities, with the first batches of market-ready turkeys set for processing in February 2025.
Damate Group and the Government of Penza Oblast have signed an agreement under which the company will invest an additional 16.5 billion rubles to further expand its turkey production operations. This 27% increase in capacity will bring the total annual output to 264,000 tons (slaughter weight). The project's financial partner is Rosselkhozbank. Expansion plans include five new poultry farming units, consisting of rearing and fattening houses, along with infrastructure and auxiliary facilities.

Year after year, turkey meat is becoming increasingly popular among Russian consumers, and demand continues to rise. Additionally, our export markets are expanding. These factors reinforce our commitment to increasing production,” said Andrey Grigorashchenko, Vice President of Damate Group.
Penza Oblast is also home to Europe’s largest deep-processing turkey plant, operated by Damate Group. In 2024, the company increased its deep-processed turkey production to 26,000 tons, securing a spot in the top 20 sausage manufacturers in Russia. The plant manufactures a wide range of processed turkey products.
