Over the past six years, 16 structures have been modernized in the Penza Oblast as part of the "Safe Quality Roads" national project, including eight bridges on regional highways.
Key bridge repairs were completed in several districts:
Mokshan District: Renovation of the bridge over the Rysevka River on the Mokshan–Nizhny Novgorod–Saratov road and at the access road to Elizavetino Village.
Penza District: Upgrades to the Nyanga River bridge on the Kondol–Shemysheyka highway, as well as bridges on the Tambov–Penza and Kolyshley–Serdobsk–Bekovo–Kuchki roads, and over the Ardym River.
Kamenka District: Repair of the Yunga River bridge.
Neverkino District: Renovation of the Ilim River bridge.
Kuznetsk: Modernization of a pedestrian overpass across railway tracks.
Additionally, major reconstruction projects were completed in various areas:
Penza City: Bakuninsky Bridge and the Moksha River bridge.
Bessonovsky District: Bridge over the Koloyarka River on the Penza-Lunino highway.
Kuznetsk District: Bridge on the eastern approach to Kuznetsk.
Nizhnelomovsky District: Two bridges over the Lomovka River.
Gorodishchensky District: Bridge over the Ishimka River.
Spassky District: Bridge over an unnamed stream.
Infrastructure projects in Penza included the construction of a major interchange at the 624th km of the M-5 Ural Highway and the reconstruction of the 40 Let Oktyabrya Street Road system, which consists of:
A flyover over the railway and Penza River.
An overpass over Ryabova Street and railway tracks.
A bridge over the Ardym River.
The new national project "Infrastructure for Life" is now underway, focusing on bridge reconstruction in Lunino District (Shuksha River) and road improvements near Yeryk Street, Transportnaya Street, and Gorbachev Lane, including a railway overpass upgrade.
Contracts have also been signed for the repair of four more bridges in the Vadin, Narovchat, Malaya Serdoba, and Nikolsk districts, according to the regional construction, transport, and road management ministry.
