A delegation from Penza Oblast, including representatives of leading regional enterprises, toured the largest metallurgical plant in Uzbekistan and one of the key suppliers of high-quality steel products in the CIS.
The company "AZIA METALL PROF", established in 2018, showcased its finished product workshop to the guests.
Oleg Melnichenko was briefed on the plant’s product range, which includes: metal pipes, galvanized and polymer-coated sheets, hot-rolled steel products, and construction profiles and rebar.
The plant’s current production capacity stands at 500,000 tons per year.
In 2025, a new cold-rolling metal processing line was launched.
“It was valuable to observe their production setup, learn about machinery models, raw material sources, and state support measures. We need these best practices to implement at our own enterprises,” commented Oleg Melnichenko.
