The Penza Oblast delegation was shown the region's leading enterprises during their visit.
As explained by Azamat Sultanov, General Director of "Bukhara Agrocluster" LLC, the holding company employs about 10,000 people. "Bukhara Agrocluster" unites 38 organizations that ensure a complete production chain from cultivating cotton seeds to processing cotton and manufacturing finished products.
The company is also engaged in dairy farming, operates oil processing plants, and provides agricultural machinery maintenance services. "Bukhara Agrocluster" cultivates more than 225,000 hectares of land, including over 40,000 hectares dedicated to cotton and more than 22,000 hectares allocated for wheat production.
The Penza delegation inspected the company's laboratory, which conducts over 60,000 soil fertility tests annually. One of the agrocluster's key objectives is implementing advanced scientific achievements for crop cultivation.
The visitors also toured "Bukhara Next Generation", a manufacturing facility producing electric heaters, kitchen stoves, and range hoods. "Bukhara Next Generation" LLC is part of "Artel Electronics" group, which operates production sites across several regions of Uzbekistan.
Oleg Melnichenko noted that familiarization with these facilities proved valuable for the Penza delegation as it provided a clear understanding of Bukhara Oblast's production capabilities.
