Oleg Melnichenko and Sergey Kogogin held talks during the XVI International Economic Forum "Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum" in Kazan.
The "Master" Industrial Park in Serdobsk was established through collaboration with KAMAZ on vacant premises of the Serdobsk Machine-Building Plant. Initial development plans for "Master" were outlined by Melnichenko and Kogogin back in 2021.
Current Park Residents:
Lokomotiv RemServis - Maintenance of shunting locomotives;
SpetsMash Serdobsk - Production of containerized fueling stations, spare parts, and mobile fuel dispensers;
Motor Technologies - Manufacturing of washing equipment;
Suraneftekhimmash - Industrial service provider;
Nonton Logistic - Production and logistics center;
Governor Melnichenko told Kogogin that park residents have created approximately 200 new jobs, and attracted 175 million rubles in investments.
The officials discussed road repairs to the park's main facility, with 98 million rubles allocated from funds saved through debt relief on Penza Oblast's budget loans.
"This will boost resident enterprises' development and increase industrial output in Serdobsk District. Current progress is promising - all residents operate in real sector manufacturing, producing market-demanded goods while providing local employment," stated Melnichenko.
KAMAZ's CEO expressed plans to personally visit the industrial park.
The meeting addressed potential KAMAZ bus supplies for Zarechny, resulting in a decision to deliver a test vehicle for trial operation.
