The daytime rehabilitation department of the A.I. Nastina Central District Hospital in Serdobsk has received six new medical devices through the federal project "Optimal Medical Rehabilitation" of the national project "Long and Active Life."
"The new equipment is being used for neurological and trauma patients, helping restore mobility more effectively," said Chief Physician Andrei Malakhov. "This improves healthcare quality, ultimately reducing disability rates while enhancing patients' quality of life, work capacity, and social integration."
The mobile therapy complex provides sessions equivalent to 8 hours of sleep, relieving nervous tension and anxiety. Two next-generation cryotherapy devices offer cold treatment to reduce pain, swelling, and restore muscle tone post-injury.
The rehabilitation toolkit includes:
A walking simulator for comprehensive exercises
A bicycle ergometer to monitor pulse, blood pressure, and ECG during controlled physical activity
A mechanotherapy unit for spinal traction and massage
