The dairy farming complex of Rusmolko Company was constructed as part of an investment program implementation. This is Russia's and Europe's largest closed-cycle complex, with an annual capacity exceeding 100,000 tons of milk and daily gross production of approximately 360 tons. All of the agricultural enterprise's facilities were fully commissioned in 2021.
The complex currently houses over 18,000 animals, including more than 8,000 head of dairy cattle. Rusmolko has developed and launched a comprehensive milk yield intensification program aimed at improving feeding indicators and enhancing the genetic potential of the animals.
"Rusmolko is the flagship of our dairy industry," emphasized the Governor. "Last year, our region produced over 432,000 tons of milk, with more than half of this volume coming from Rusmolko's agricultural enterprises."
The complex features 9 cowsheds for the main herd, 6 calf barns for calves under six months old, a replacement young stock rearing area for 1,500 head, a herd reproduction area for 2,300 animals, and an outdoor shelter for adult calves with capacity for up to 1,000 head. The facility includes a milking and dairy block with two rotary milking parlors, enabling simultaneous milking of over 1,000 cows per hour.
Rusmolko serves as a key partner of Penza State Agrarian University, which implements the federal "Professionalitet" project. The company also participates in creating agricultural technology classes in regional schools, aimed at career guidance for students.
The average age of the enterprise's employees is 38 years.
"This is an excellent age when a person has already gained necessary professional experience and still has time to apply it," noted the Governor during the awards ceremony for the best workers of the Serdobsk dairy complex. "At this innovative enterprise, you are engaged in work that ensures the country's food security - this is very important work."
