"Damate" has become the world's only and Russia's first company to receive permission to export turkey meat to Malaysia.
"I consider this another confirmation of the high quality of products manufactured on Penza soil," emphasized Oleg Melnichenko. "Shipments are already being prepared for dispatch to Malaysia, with 'Damate' planning the first shipment in mid-December."
He also noted that entering this new market opens opportunities for the company to organize export supplies to other Southeast Asian countries.
Located in Penza Oblast, Russia's largest turkey production complex has undergone a full audit of veterinary and food safety assurance systems. "Damate" is the first in Russia to implement the Malaysian "Halal" management system, considered the world's strictest set of requirements for product quality and safety, personnel, religious practices, and production and management processes.
"Extensive preparatory work has been completed, which began three years ago," noted the Governor.
Last year, the poultry complex received certification from Rosselkhoznadzor and the International Center for Standardization and Certification "Halal." This year, the enterprise also underwent a series of audits involving inspectors from the Malaysian Department of Veterinary Services and the Malaysian Department of Islamic Development.
The audits confirmed full compliance of the products with national requirements, leading to positive decisions regarding market entry into Malaysia.
"Damate" began developing its export operations in 2015. To date, the company holds permission to supply products to over 60 countries worldwide, including China, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Benin, Angola, and other countries in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
