In 2025, Penza Oblast completed the creation of all necessary infrastructure for exporting goods and services ahead of schedule.
The region has launched 13 crucial support mechanisms for exporters, as outlined by the regional-level program aimed at international cooperation and increasing product shipments abroad. The oblast will now proceed to the next stage—enhancing the effectiveness of utilizing the established support measures.
Key focus areas within the standard include: providing a comprehensive set of state support measures through a regional export support center under the "one-stop shop" principle, strategic planning for export development, training personnel for foreign economic activity at higher education institutions, enabling companies' access to educational and acceleration programs, facilitating exporters' entry to international electronic trading platforms, ensuring company participation in key international events, promoting products in international markets, and more.
The systematic work initiated in previous years has earned the region a status as one of the country's leaders in creating a favorable environment for exporters. Implementing the standard's tools allows for structuring and strengthening support measures for foreign economic activity, directly contributes to growth in export activity, and delivers measurable results.
As of the end of the third quarter, Penza Oblast's foreign trade turnover reached 32.6 billion rubles, including export volume of 15.1 billion rubles.
This year, to develop international ties, over 10 overseas visits by Penza delegations were organized, along with 9 reciprocal visits by foreign delegations to the region.
"For 2026, the region faces tasks not only to preserve but also to expand the effects of implementing the standard. Plans include building an effective export support system, strengthening cooperation links with other Russian regions to form joint export proposals, conducting work on digitalizing export services and support measures, and promoting regional products in foreign markets, including within the 'Made in Russia' program," noted Roman Tryalin, Minister of Economic Development and Industry of Penza Oblast.
