Damate Group will increase its production capacity by 11,300 tons of product annually. The company has commenced construction of a new poultry unit in Penza Oblast. The investment amount will be 4.3 billion rubles, with Rosselkhozbank serving as the financial partner.
Construction is proceeding as part of a project to expand the turkey production capacity in the region, involving the construction of five poultry units by 2028. The launch of the first unit will increase turkey production by 11,300 tons in slaughter weight annually and expand total placement capacity by 1 million head.
Work is organized in the village of Nadezhdino, Penza District. The unit includes 3 sites featuring 32 poultry houses for rearing and fattening turkeys. Commissioning is scheduled for the second half of 2026.
To date, foundation laying has been completed, frame installation is finishing, and on-site water supply and sewage systems are being installed. At some sites, wall and floor installation has begun, concrete roads have been partially constructed, and on-site power line supports have been set up.
In addition to poultry houses, the project includes construction of all infrastructure and auxiliary facilities: feed storage bunkers, sanitary checkpoints, turkey weighing and loading stations, and a composting area for litter and bedding material. A water intake unit and disinfection barriers will be established.
All sites will be provided with modern technological equipment and connected to electricity, gas, and water supply. All processes ensuring bird welfare (feeding, watering, ventilation, and climate control) will be automated.
The poultry houses will be constructed in full compliance with biological and sanitary requirements of current legislation, with necessary spacing between them to adhere to all biosecurity standards.
Project implementation will create approximately 50 additional new jobs for residents of the region.
